Webinar Recap: The LaundroPortal Deep Dive

If you missed our latest webinar, we've got you covered. We brought together Erik, Director of Distributor Sales, Oleg, founder of Laundroworks, and Sivan, Director of Product Operations, to do a live, all-questions-welcome deep dive into the LaundroPortal. We covered everything from the basics of the Card Tracker to exciting new beta features that are changing the way operators connect with their self-serve customers.

Here are the key takeaways:

The Card Tracker is the heartbeat of your customer relationships.

The Card Tracker gives you the ability to look up any customer by card number, phone, or email, and take action remotely. Whether you need to add value back to a card after a machine issue or ban a bad actor, you can do it all from wherever you are. As Erik put it, "This is really where it allows you to have that remote capability to provide really whatever customer service you might need to do for your customers, whether you're at home, the beach, whatever you want to do."

Your reports are more powerful than you might think.

The Summary Report, History Report, and Machine Breakdown Report together give you a 360° view of your store's health. Erik highlighted a smart tip for getting even more out of your data: "If you're using any AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, whatever it may be — I just downloaded the reader log and uploaded it, and it breaks out all the numbers for you. You can see the number of transactions, revenue per hour, and it summarizes that for you." Until more of these capabilities are built directly into the portal, AI tools can help bridge the gap.

Promo codes and discount groups are your secret marketing weapons.

The marketing section of the Laundroworks portal lets you create both global and unique promo codes, set eligibility rules, and track how well your campaigns are performing after the fact. Discount groups are just as powerful. Erik shared that operators commonly use them to win over local cleaning companies, apartment complex residents, and community groups like veterans and college students.

Remote VAC management keeps your store running smoothly, even when you're not there.

From checking bill counts and kiosk status to dispensing cards with preloaded value for customers in need, the portal gives you a surprising amount of control without ever stepping foot in the store. You can also set up email or text alerts for error codes, bill acceptor issues, card dispenser warnings, and more, so you're never caught off guard.

Wrapping Up

Whether you're just getting started with Laundroworks or you've been using it for years, this webinar was a good reminder that there's a lot of capability already at your fingertips, and that getting the most out of your store starts with knowing where to look. From building stronger customer relationships through the Card Tracker, to using your reports to spot trends and take action, to running smarter promotions that actually bring people back, the tools are there.
